Content of the training
A person who has completed occupational safety card training
• knows the principles of occupational safety and health in the common workplace
• knows how to identify hazard and workload factors
• understands the principles of safe and healthy working
• understands the importance of human activities for occupational safety
Occupational safety card training lasts for one day and it involves a written test.
The Finnish Centre for Occupational Safety will discontinue printed occupational safety cards as of 15 January 2025. After that, the price of the training does not include a printed safety card. In place of printed cards, the Finnish Centre for Occupational Safety publishes an electronic Occupational Safety Card search, where you can check the information on a valid occupational safety card. The Centre for Occupational Safety offers those who have completed a occupational safety card the opportunity to order a printed occupational safety card at their own expense until 2026, if necessary. The participant must order the card himself/herself.

Language of training: Finnish.
A valid occupational safety card can be renewed with four hours of training followed by a written test. There is a specific registration link for the refresher training, the cost of the training is 88,25 euroa (includes VAT 25,5 %).
After registration, you will receive a confirmation of registration to the e-mail address you have given.
The invitation to the training is sent to the same address approximately a week before the training.
We have a Paytrail payment service. Once you have entered your registration details, the program will direct you to Paytrail, where you can pay the price of the training in your online bank.
When a company is paying for the training, an invoice will be sent after the training to the billing address you have given.
