Reset and erasing Chromebook

When the device is disconnected from Ekami’s control, it resets, i.e. all data on the device is erased. Therefore, please first collect all necessary information e.g. browser bookmarks and downloaded files, preferably even before ordering.

The time of erasing the device that you selected for the order form is the time of reset of the device. A reset command is then sent to the device. In order for the reset to go through, the device must be connected to a network, e.g. a home network. The reset of the device should take place within 1⁄2h of when the device is connected to the network.

If the reset is not successful, you can manually do so using the keyboard command “Ctrl+Alt+Shift+R”. In this case, select the “PowerWash” option in the window that opens and select “Continue” in the next window, after which the device resets.
