Content of the training
A crew member must have at least Security Awareness Training in accordance with Section A-VI/6-1 of the STCW Code. A crew member with assigned security duties must also have Designated Security Duties Training in accordance with Section A-VI/6-2 of the STCW Code.
Our training covers both Security Awareness Training (STCW A-VI/6-1) and Designated Security Duties Training(A-VI/6-2). Those who complete the training receive certificates of their participation in the training and can then apply for a Maritime certificate of proficiency from Traficom.
The training is held online as webinar teaching. Participants in the training must have a computer with a camera.
